Hydrochloric acid 9% is a solution of hydrochloric acid with steady concentration used to make chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide is used to treat rinse water in bottle washers.
Use:
- In order to obtain a ClO2 solution, it is necessary for HYDROCHLORIC ACID 9% and SODIUM CHLORITE 7,5% to react in a 1:1 ration inside the chlorine dioxide generator. The recommended concentration of CiO2 in water used in bottle washers comes to approximately 1 to 2 ppm of free CIO2
