BARSAN

Germicidal and fungicidal liquid for disinfection of surfaces that come in contact with food as well as for disinfection of rinse water in food processing plants.

BARSAN is a biocide. Active ingredients of the product include:

1. Didecyldimethylammonium chloride [cont. 3,33 g/ 100 g]
2. Quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl-C12-18-alkilodimethylo, chlorides [cont. 3,33 g/100 g]
3. Quaternary ammonium compounds, C12-14-alkyl[(ehtylphenyl)methyl]dimethyl, chlorides [cont. 3,33 g/ 100 g]

The 1% above-mentioned water solution of BARSAN (1g of the product for 99g of water) shows germicidal and fungicidal effects based on the efficiency assessment performed according to PN-EN 13697. The following reference strains have been used for germicidal assessment: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus hirae. Fungicidal assessment has been performed using the following reference strains: Candida albicans, and Aspergillus niger. BARSANU mustn’t be mixed with other products that contain anionic surfactants. It expires after 12 months from the production dat.

USE:

  • Disinfection of production area surfaces that come in contact with processed food (tables, apparatus, installations, conveyors etc.)
