Hygienic demands on all branches of the food industry are increasing and the avoidance of disease or epidemic entry is a considerable economic factor. Therefore, consistent disinfection of all incoming vehicles means a significant increase in operational hygiene.

The disinfection arch is placed on a steel or concrete floor pan. A remote control triggers the pump when the vehicle enters which immediately ensures that the vehicle is completely wetted at constantly high pressure. The arrangement of the nozzles at the archway ensures wetting of all vehicle types and sizes, all around. The nozzles spray three-dimensionally and are not susceptible to the wind so that safe decontamination is ensured.

A nozzle line on the ground with nozzles in the drive-over ramps ensures solid underbody, tyre and wheel case wetting which is particularly important for complete disinfection. To automate the process of processing vehicles, the delivery package includes a photocell placed in front of the disarmer. When a car appears in the photocell pickup zone with a delay at the set time, the pump automatically turns on, thus causing the disinfection barrier to go into operation.

When the sensor passes without delay, the gate does not turn on, allowing the vehicle to pass without processing. After the passage of the disinfection barrier by the truck, the photocell is activated and automatically switches off the defrost.

Advantages of this installation: Due to the high pressure of the finely dispersed atomizer, the nozzles of the solution provide a low consumption of the substance. For a minimum period of time, a large and inaccessible surface is disinfected. Also, this installation makes it possible not to make pits, and plums and releases staff from labour-intensive maintenance, which is of no small importance for the enterprise. Furthermore, the human factor is eliminated when working on disinfecting barrier.
